The RookMay Foundation has officially launched, marking a significant step forward in supporting mental health initiatives across the UK. Founded in 2024 by May Ladd, the foundation aims to provide essential resources and services to adults struggling with mental health conditions. With a focus on donations, advisory services, and leveraging cutting-edge technology, the foundation is set to make a meaningful impact. The website, a key part of the foundation's outreach, was generously designed and built for free by Solved Marketing, a UK-based web design and marketing agency.
The RookMay Foundation was born from the personal experiences of its founder, May Ladd. Diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder in 2020, May spent several years in and out of hospitals, encountering many individuals struggling with their own mental health issues. This led him to a realisation – there was a greater need for resources and support for those battling mental health conditions.
Through the foundation, May aims to provide:
May’s personal journey is at the heart of the foundation. He states, “Having faced my own mental health struggles, I founded The RookMay Foundation to support others and create lasting change.”

When it came to building a platform to support the foundation's goals, May found the perfect partner in Solved Marketing, a UK-based Google partner web design and marketing agency. The website, built for free, serves as a central hub for those looking to engage with the foundation, whether through donations, volunteering, or accessing resources.
James Balneaves, Managing Director of Solved Marketing, shares why this project was important to them:
“We were honoured to be involved in the creation of the RookMay Foundation website. Mental health is an issue close to my own heart that touches everyone, and we wanted to help create a platform that would allow the foundation to reach those in need.”
